The following available paper stocks are classified as Envelopes Only, Text/Offset, Book, Cover, Card or Specialty paper stocks.

Defining Paper Weights

Text/Offset and Book paper stocks are described by their total weight in pounds for 500 - 25" x 38" sheets of the specific stock. Cover paper stocks are described by the pound weight of 500 - 20" x 26" sheets of the specific cover stock. Cover paper stocks typically include weights from 50 lb. to 110 lb. Card paper stocks are measured in points that give the thickness of the sheet in thousandths of an inch. For example, a 14 pt. cover stock is 0.0014 inches thick. The primary product uses for each paper stock listed below are noted under their respective paper stock classifications and names. The list below begins with text/offset weight stocks and continues through book, cover, card and specialty paper stocks.

Recycled Paper Stocks

Paper stocks displaying an asterisk (Recycled*) next to their names are either recycled paper stocks that are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified and contain post consumer waste or paper stocks that are not Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified but do contain post consumer waste. Envelopes Only Paper Stocks (Uncoated / Pre-Converted)

Envelopes Only (Uncoated) paper stocks are not flat sheets but actual blank envelopes which are run through a dedicated press that can print 1 or 2 color or PMS (Spot Colors) only and not four color (full color).
